|
I have only recently started recycling but i recycle everything
i dont actually think of doing it to save anything which isnt good as i should but as far as im concerned it is already making a difference nd saving me money
here are some thing imdoing so far
composting - just got a large compost bin for £9 inc delivery from the council - not only is the compost going to save me money in the long run but its also a great way of getting rid of grass cuttingg
newspaper - some goes in my compost bin to dry things out a bit, rest in the recycle bin
yoghurt pots - my son takes these to school
containers ie the bottom of deep packets of sandwich meat , sausage roll containers anything big enough - i use as seed trays
plastic cups ie party ones - wash them and use them also for seeds
i do other thing as well and so far its saved me money and will continue to do it
does anyone else recycle??

| We have three bins that are colloected weekly and every two weeks. One is normal rubbish, one is for recycled items like plastic and paper, and one is for garden waste, Some of our vege peelings go into our compost bins. |

We have a green bin for compostable waste and a grey bin for normal rubbish which are collected alternately fortnightly. We also have a smaller bin for paper and one for plastic bottles. We did used to recycle bottles and paper at local sites before we got the bins but they have made it sooo much easier. Hoping to buy a compost bin from the council as they are doing an offer on some. My last experiencce with one didnt go well so hoping this time it will work. _________________ Mandys Photos
